Job Purpose:

Manage and create strong pipeline to support the Specialty business growth in China. Find out potential market and build up long term partnership with key players. Set up new business case / plan internally to contribute business growth strategically. Lead new business development to support company to maintain the preferable material supplier in key OEMs.

Responsibilities:

1 Builds relationships & application pipeline in Growth OEMs to position SABIC as a preferred partner for specialty products across various industries and products.

2 Identifies the industry value chain, growth areas and creates demand to expand SABIC’s revenue and market prescience.

3 Understands and articulates both short and long term customer needs; including material requirements, new product introductions and new business opportunities. Proposes solutions based on OEM’s needs and SABIC’s compounding capability. Ability to gain credibility with OEMs across multiple disciplines including sourcing, design, engineering and leadership.

4 Develops a robust pipeline & MGAP of new business opportunities for all SABIC’s Specialty compounds per customer & market demand. Manages open opportunities and sees to timely closure and realization of sales. Collaborates with SABIC’s Account Managers, Distribution Channel Leaders, and Business Manager and TDE to support the specification and design process for new applications

5 Gather and report market intelligence including industry/customer specific unmet needs, market trends, competitor intelligence, & technology gaps.

Requirements:

1 Bachelor’s degree or above in the following majors or related field;

2 Prefer experience on CE product ID and mechanical development

3 Prefer project management background

4 Minimum of 5 years working experiences in Specialty Thermoplastics sales & application development.

5 Experiences in Consumer Electronics, Telecommunication Infrastructure and IOT Industry is highly preferred.

6 Experiences in Product Marketing function is a plus

7 Good at communication and interpersonal skills

8 Technical background

9 Analytical skills and logical thinking.

10 Excellent Presentation Skill.

11 Must be fluent English in oral and written
